The Kick Creator Program, explained

Updated August 17, 2026

Kick's creator ladder has three rungs. Affiliate (historically 75 followers plus 5 streamed hours) unlocks subscriptions at a 95/5 split. Partner is an application-based upgrade with verification and better discovery. The Kick Creator Incentive Program (KCIP) sits on top: an hourly payment, reported at $16 to $32 per hour, for Partners who sustain roughly 100 concurrent viewers. Tips through an external tip page work at every rung, including before Affiliate.

The three tiers

Kick publishes less about its requirements than Twitch does, and it adjusts them quietly. Treat the numbers above as the community-reported bar as of August 2026, and check your Creator Dashboard for what Kick shows your account.

How to qualify for the Kick Creator Program

  1. Hit Affiliate first: stream regularly until you cross the follower and hours bar shown in your dashboard.
  2. Stream on a schedule. Partner review and KCIP both reward consistency (the reported KCIP bar spreads 50+ hours across 15+ separate days).
  3. Grow concurrent viewers, not followers. KCIP eligibility is reported to hinge on average concurrent viewership, which is a different game from follower count.
  4. Keep your account in good standing; strikes pause everything.
  5. Apply for Partner from the dashboard once your numbers are stable.

What to do while you climb

Everything above pays out later. The income that works today, at any tier, is direct support: a tip page linked in your bio and panels. It also compounds with the ladder, because the viewers who tip are the same regulars who convert to subs the day you hit Affiliate. The setup guide is in how to get donations on Kick, and the broader earning picture is in how to make money on Kick.

Income that does not wait for Partner

Ouish is a tip jar, wishlist and storefront for streamers and creators. Tips work from your first stream; supporters cover the processing fee, so what they give is what you get.

Frequently asked questions

How do I qualify for the Kick Creator Program?

Reach Affiliate through the follower and hours bar in your dashboard, stream consistently, then apply for Partner. KCIP eligibility is reported to require roughly 100 average concurrent viewers with 50+ hours across 15+ days in a month.

How much do creators get paid on Kick?

95% of each subscription (about $4.74 per $4.99 sub), plus reported $16 to $32 per hour for KCIP participants, plus whatever tips and sales they take directly.

Is the Kick Creator Program the same as the $16 an hour program?

The hourly pay is the Creator Incentive Program (KCIP), the top rung of the program. Affiliate and Partner do not include hourly pay.

Can I earn on Kick before joining the program?

Yes. Tips through an external tip page and digital product sales work at any follower count, including zero.
