How to get donations on Kick

Updated August 17, 2026

Kick has no native donation button, so donations run through an external tip page: you create one, put the link in your Kick bio and panels, and mention it on stream. Setup takes about five minutes. With an Ouish tip page, supporters pay the processing fee on top of their tip, so the amount they pick is the amount you receive, and it works from zero followers.

Why Kick does not have a donate button

Kick's monetization is subscriptions plus the Creator Incentive Program; direct viewer donations were left to external tools, the same way Twitch leaves non-bits donations to third parties. Every donating viewer on Kick is clicking a link the streamer placed. That means your tip setup is fully yours: your page, your currencies, your payout.

The five minute setup

  1. Create your tip page: on Ouish, claim a handle and turn on tips. Your page lives at creator.ouish.co/yourhandle.
  2. Set tip presets that match your audience ($2, $5, $10 works for most channels; leave custom amounts on).
  3. Open your Kick channel settings and paste the link into your bio with a plain label like "Support the stream".
  4. Add it to a panel below the stream if you use panels, with one sentence about what tips go toward.
  5. Test it with a small tip from another account so you see exactly what supporters see.

Getting viewers to actually use it

  • Name a purpose. "Tips this month go toward a new mic" reliably out-earns a bare link.
  • Thank tips by name, immediately. The acknowledgement is the product.
  • Mention the link at natural peaks, not on a timer. After a win or a big moment, one sentence is enough.
  • Keep one link. A bio full of payment options splits and suppresses tips; one clean page converts better.

What it costs

On Ouish, the supporter covers the processing fee (6%) on top of their chosen amount, so a $10 tip arrives as $10. There is no platform cut on tips and no follower requirement. Withdrawals carry a small per-currency fee, shown before you confirm. Checked August 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Can you get donations on Kick?

Yes. Kick has no built-in donation button, so streamers take donations through an external tip page linked in their bio and panels. It works at any follower count.

How do Kick streamers set up donations?

They create a tip page (like an Ouish page), put the link in their Kick bio and panels, and mention it on stream. Setup takes about five minutes.

Does Kick take a cut of donations?

No. Donations run through your external tip page, so Kick is not in the payment path at all. What you lose to fees depends on the tip page; on Ouish the supporter pays the processing fee on top.

Do I need to be a Kick Affiliate to take donations?

No. Affiliate status gates subscriptions, not donations. A tip page works from your first stream with zero followers.
